Utilizing cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and strength-based interventions, I work together with individuals of all ages to help them develop the skills they need to optimize their lives and target an overall well being. In my practice, I focus on helping people identify their areas of strength and then use those strengths to target the challenges with which they are struggling. Whether you are a child, adolescent or adult, everyone needs tools, tips and strategies to cope with life’s hurdles. It would be my pleasure to join you on your journey to health and happiness.
Individuals inquire about receiving therapy for a number of reasons. Whether you are looking for guidance and support through a difficult life transition or experiencing challenges with depression or anxiety, we can work together to build a treatment plan that will best suit your needs. In my practice, I engage in Short Term (8-12 sessions), Long Term and Maintenance Therapy with children, adolescents, and young adults.
Often the best way to address issues in therapy is in a group setting with peers that are experiencing similar challenges. Through the shared experience, individuals learn they are not alone and have opportunities to practice the skills learned in session. In my practice I offer several groups for different ages including social/play skills, emotional regulation, and stress management.
Several words come to mind when one thinks of parenting, but “easy” is not one of them. Parenting is one of the most important jobs and complex interpersonal relationships in existence. Every parent struggles from one time to another with his or her children. The good news is that an outside perspective can often give parents the support needed to conquer the current hurdle. Parent Coaching/Training helps parents learn the skills needed to manage a variety of behavioral and emotional challenges. Through the right strategies and techniques, parents can help their children get back on the right track, reach their potential and function together more effectively.
In today’s on-the-go world, scheduling the time to come to the office for an appointment often adds a barrier to individuals and families getting the help they need. In order to make my services more accessible to the modern day family, I offer virtual sessions. I will assist you to identify the specific problem and develop strategies to target this issue through virtual sessions.
From parent education lectures to small groups with children or adults, I will work with you to build a custom workshop that best meets your needs. Please contact me to discuss how my services can be presented at your school, organization or private event.

Taking the leap and making that initial call is often the hardest part. No two clients are alike and each individual requires a unique approach. It would be my pleasure to speak with you further to discuss which services or interventions would be most beneficial for you and your family.
Whether you are interested in therapy, coaching or assessment, the first step is to meet for an initial appointment. I like to view these appointments as a getting to know each other, information gathering session. From there we will work together to build your custom treatment plan.
Finding a therapist with whom you feel comfortable is important. In fact, research shows that therapeutic relationships are essential to success. While I have experience working with people of all ages who struggle with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges, if we decide together that I cannot best meet your needs, I would be more than happy to refer you to another provider within the community.
